Practice begins on the first Wednesday in June for all Ladies @ 6.30pm.

All girls are very welcome regardless of your cricket experience or skill level.

The sessions will be run by our Development Officers and will definately be a lot of fun!

WCC ladies cricket is now an integral part of the club. In 2008 practice sessions were arranged at the Lawn for girls of any ages to come and try the game for the first time. By the end of the 2008 season there were almost 30 girls attending practice sessions at the Lawn held by our Youth Development Officer.

They began by learning the basics of the game and as the weeks progressed the girls were batting and bowling as though they had played for years!

A match was held at the end of the 2008 season between the WCC U11’s / Fathers and the WCC Ladies team. The girls held their own and the highlight of the game was a Shelley Sloan Six!
